  • Dash cam - Powered up and operational?

  • Height indicator - Set at correct value?

  • Steering _ Positive, responsive and free moving?

  • Fuel, Oil, Water, Coolant levels - Enough to complete journey?

  • Mirrors and glass - Any cracks, chips or visibility problems?

  • Engine - Any smoke or malfunction?

  • Operators disc/VTG6 plate - Displayed and valid?

  • PPE- Helmet, Goggles, Gloves, Boots - All in good condition?

  • Seatbelt - Good condition and fully functioning?

  • Lights and reflectors - Fully operational with no damage?

  • Brakes inc ABS/EBS - Check operation, pressure build up and air leaks/ABS/EBS is system operational ( Light sequence)? Any damage to lead and socket?

  • Body/Wings/Floor - Secure and free from trip hazards?

  • Underrun bumper/sideguards - Damage free and secure?

  • Wheel nuts - Are wheel nut indicators aligned/present with no loose nuts where fitted?

  • Wings and spray suppression - Fitted correctly and securely?

  • Registration plates - Clearly visible and damage free?

  • Tyres - Less than 2mm of tread, bald patches, damaged, under inflated?

  • Accident damage - Any signs of damage to vehicle?

  • Vehicle/Trailer - Clean?

  • Loading straps - Are straps in good condition?

  • Comments - Any details on the defect found on this check to be added here - If No defect found then Write NIL in the box

  • Is the vehicle safe to drive?

  • Don Not Drive the vehicle and report Immediately to the Transport Manager, remove the keys and place in T.M Desk, once reported check the box
