• 1. Ensure the scale been installed into the checkout in a correct manner. Scale must be rigid with very little movement as possible, scale must be levelled and the bubble must be in the middle.

• 2. Ensure the Demarcation border is visible, intact and there are no obstructions within the border.

• 3. Ensure the Customer and Operator displays are both visible are working correctly.

• 4. Ensure ALL the attached peripherals are working correctly ( Printer, Keyboard, Terminal & Displays ).

• 5. Ensure scale weight checks at 500g and 1kg are complete and correct.

• 6. Ensure both 8 digit and 13 digit EAN product scanning checks are complete and correct.

• 7. Ensure both printer and display are showing and displaying the correct information as per weights and product scanning tests completed.

• 8. Ensure the scale checksum or Software ID reads 337046357. You must be signed off the till. Press the service button on the operators display, Press print scale checksum button, the printer will print the receipt, ensure receipt is correct and press the back button to exit.

• 9. Ensure both receipts are legible and correct. Please take pictures of both receipts for each till.

• 10. If any of the tests fail then you must try to resolve the issue or replace the faulty device or scale and ensure the new device conforms to ALL the required tests
