Main Farm Stage 1 & 2

  • Turn on the Nursery Top Off Valve

  • Check water level in each reservoir (top tanks) Should be at 75 Gallons

  • Check all BLUE LAB READINGS on all sumps Top Sumps: EC: 1.2-1.3 PH: 5.9-6.1 Temp: 21-23 Bottom Sumps: EC: 1.5-1.6 PH: 5.9-6.0 Temp: 21-23

  • If levels above are not within the range please update here:

  • Check all the bottles at each sump. A & B, PH Up and Down. Fill when below 1/3 remaining. Observe if levels are different. A & B must be the same level.

  • Check TOP OFF PH UP bottle. Should be filled when it goes below half

  • Check PH in TOP OFF TANK. Should be 7.5-8.0

  • Check Top off Tank and make sure the water is above the LOW LINE (blue line)

  • Check air pumps under racks to make sure they are all connected to the air diffusers and on (touch each hose to make sure they are vibrating and operational)

  • Check for leaks around farm or any unusual standing water

  • Check that lights are on in all beds. (**NOTE** Lights run from 6pm to 12 noon in all the beds)

  • Check all roots, on each bed by lifting one raft to look. Healthy roots are white and full, unhealthy roots are light brown to dark brown with possible slime.

  • TURN OFF NURSERY TOP OFF VALVE WHEN WATER STOPS COMING OUT OF THE FLOAT VALVE IN THE NURSERY SUMP
