  • 1.1 - Good visibility for driver through all cab windows and mirrors. All required mirrors fitted and adjusted correctly and in good condition?

2.0 - External Vehicle Checks

  • 2.5 - Exhaust secure with no excess noise or smoke?

  • 2.6 - Vehicle access, doors, steps and bodywork in good condition?

  • 2.7 - Fuel cap seal in place and not leaking?

  • 2.8 - Engine oil, water, windscreen washer reservoir and fuel levels checked and no leaks?

  • 2.9 - No structural/body damage to the vehicle?

  • 2.10 - Window-screen and glass in good condition?

3.0 - Load area

  • 3.1 - Wall lining in good condition?

  • 3.2 - Floor lining in good condition?

  • 3.3 - Lights working in this area?

  • 3.4 - Are securing devices and anchor point in place and in good condition?

  • 3.5 - Can goods/equipment be loaded safely and if not why (are lifting aids available)?

4.0 - Engine bay

  • 4.1 - Oil level ok?

  • 4.2 - Cooling water level ok?

  • 4.3 - Brake fluid level ok?

  • 4.4 - Windscreen washer level water ok?

  • 4.5 - There are no water, oil leaks and no abnormal notice or fault?
