A vehicle maintenance check should start by including basic, but important, details such as car make and model, insurance information, and vehicle identification number. The next step is to record work done on the vehicle in question — whether inspection, maintenance or repairs. Add context by adding and annotating before and after images of the vehicle. If relevant, this is also where you indicate the estimated cost of repairs. The authorized personnel conducting the check should also sign-off on the check and include a time and date stamp.
