INTRODUCTION: It is the scaffold user/hirers responsibility to ensure that all scaffolding has been inspected as follows. All scaffolds should be inspected following installation and before use. Scaffold should be inspected no more than every 7 days there after. This is a maximum and could change due to severe weather. All scaffolding inspections must be carried out by a competent person whose combination of knowledge, training and experience is appropriate for the type of complexity of the scaffold.
