Scaffold Checklist INSTALLATIONS

  • Is the scaffold installed (4m)four meters from overhead powerlines ?

  • Are the sole boards benched correctly and are jacks centred to the sole board?

  • Is the stair/ladder access complete and secure (ladder secured in place)?

  • Is there access to all working platforms from the stair access ?

  • Are the gaps around the stair unit acceptable?

  • Is the step up to the stair access less than 500mm.

  • Are all cups and wedges been locked and free of movement ?

  • Are all ledgers installed?

  • Are all transoms install?

  • BRACES (are braces installed every 3rd bay)?

  • STANDARDS (not blocking gutters and protruding though roof)?

  • STANDARDS Are standards blocking the electrical box?

  • Are decks installed at the correct height?

  • Are the transition between working decks no greater then 500mm?

  • BOARDS -Steel is each bay fully decked and set at the correct height?

  • BOARDS -Timber is each lapped section secured (Lashed or Screwed)?

  • Closed ends/ Scaffold boxed?

  • Are the Tube ties/Rakers bays in place?

  • Have the mesh panels or toe boards been installed?

  • Lower ledgers removed from access points ?

  • EXTRAS is the shade cloth/ chain mesh, (if installed )secure and installed correctly?

  • Is excess gear in stillages and stored in a safe location?

  • Is all the lift gear stacked neatly upstairs?
