BEFORE STARTING ENGINE

  • Fluids levels correct ( engine, oil, coolant)

  • Condition of battery

  • Ignition Switch

  • House / door latches correctly?

  • Free from obvious fluid leaks?

  • Presence of fire extinguishers

  • Tires and rims in good condition?

  • Decals legible?

  • Controls are clearly marked?

  • Engine fuel level

  • Operator’s manual complete, legible, and in storage box?

  • Cracks, dents or visible damage of any sort

  • Condition of Hoses?

  • Whip checks in place?

  • Anchor point for rigging acceptable?

  • Compressor out of proximity of workers? (Noise, fumes, etc)
