Standard, Purpose and Scope

Standard: Westair Wings MOE Section 2.10
Purpose: To ensure all aircraft logbooks are current and reflect the true status of the aircraft.
Scope: Aircraft Airframe logbook, Engine Logbook, Propeller Logbook and APU Logbook.
Airframe Registration and Serial Number
Airframe logbook and number
Airframe Particulars complete and signed?
Record of Major Defects and Damage sustained page complete and correct?
Record of Compass swing current (within 1 year of last certification)?
Airframe component records - Does the installed Class 2 components match with status report. (If there are discrepancies, refer to Clas 2 product overhaul and/or replacement reocrd page)
Class 1 product replacement record - Does the installed Class 1 components match with status report.
Class 2 product replacement record - Does the installed Class 1 components match with status report.
Modifications Embodied (STC's) Latest recorded modifications such as the conditional approval and final approval. STC data check can be conducted on the relevant A/C Flight Manual as well.
Airworthiness Directive compliance record - one time action (CAMO verify on the FAA and EASA and relevant CAA)
Airworthiness Directive compliance record - repetitive (CAMO verify on the FAA and EASA and relevant CAA)
Service Bulletins/Letters/Instructions - one time action (CAMO verify from Manufacturers Data base)
Service Bulletins/Letters/Instructions - repetitive (CAMO verify from Manufacturers Data base)
Aircraft Mass and Balance Record - record last date of weighing.
Scheduled Inspection records
Engine Serial Number and Position (L/H, R/H or APU)
Verify engine serial number installation in the Airframe logbook.
Verify engine installation records and maintenance history.
Engine component record - Class 2 components
Modifications Embodied (STC's) Latest recorded modifications such as the conditional approval and final approval. STC data check can be conducted on the relevant A/C Flight Manual as well.
