Ground Inspection

  • Ensure ground spike is secure

Receptacle Inspection

  • Ensure power has been isolated at correct circuit breaker for this circuit, measure with fluke meter that there is ZERO Vac present

  • Remove receptacle securing screws and inspect

  • Remove any debris from inside the receptacle box

  • Ensure that not bare copper wire can be seen at the conductor wire

  • Ensure that ground wire is connected firmly to ground terminal and receptacle box

  • Ensure that the receptacle is connected in the correct polarity

  • Ensure that all receptacle terminals are firm and tight

  • Install receptacle to box by using correct screws firmly<br>

Light Switch Inspection

  • Ensure power has been isolated at the correct circuit breaker for this circuit, measure with fluke meter that there is ZERO Vac present

  • Remove securing screws and inspect

  • Remove any debris from switch box

  • Ensure that no bare copper can be seen at the conductor wire

  • Ensure ground wire is connected to light switch and switch box

  • Ensure all terminal screws are firm and tight

  • Ensure all other connectors are firm and tight

  • Install light switch to switch box using correct screws firmly

Light Fixture Inspection

  • Ensure power has been isolated at the correct circuit breaker for this circuit, measure with fluke meter that ZERO Vac is present

  • Remove securing screws and inspect

  • Remove any debris from the light fixture

  • Ensure no bare copper can be seen at the conductor wire

  • Ensure ground wire is connected to fixture and fixture box

  • Ensure all terminal screws are firm and tight

  • Ensure all other connectors are firm and tight

  • Ensure that correct wattage lamps/bulbs are connected to fixture

  • Secure light fixture to fixture mounting with correct screws firmly

Circuit Breaker Box Inspection

  • Ensure breaker box is isolated by turning the MAIN switch OFF

  • Remove circuit breaker box cover and measure with fluke meter that there is ZERO Vac present

  • Position all individual circuit breakers to the OFF position

  • Ensure no bare copper can be seen at the conductor wire

  • Ensure all ground wires are connected firmly to ground terminal

  • Ensure all circuit breaker terminal screws are firm and tight

  • Ensure all other connectors are firm and tight

  • Ensure all individual circuit breaker position to the ON & OFF position freely

  • Replace circuit breaker box cover

  • Ensure all circuit breaker are correctly and clearly marked for the correct circuit

  • Ensure all individual circuit breakers are in the off position

  • Turn MAIN switch to circuit breaker box ON

  • Turn individual circuit breakers to the ON position

  • Check that all circuits are working correctly
