Installed Equipment

  • If the AP has been connected using a patch lead to installed socket, is this correctly fitted without any undue slack cable?

  • If AP is connected to mains supply, is this correctly fitted without any undue slack cable?

Cables Installed

  • Are all cables safely and correctly fixed and installed?

  • Are all cables installed neatly?

  • Have any cable entry or exit points been resealed using appropriate stoping methods?

  • Have any Cloud supplier installed trunking, ducting or conduits been correctly and safely fitted utilising the correct bends, tees, drops etc. with no sharp edges and with the lid fully fitted?

  • If the Cloud cables have been run on/in existing customer tray, trunking or conduits has this been carried out in a safe manner with appropriate measures taken to avoid crossing or burning existing cables?

  • If Cloud cables have been run on/in existing customer tray, trunking or conduits, has this been carried out whilst keeping the appropriate distance from any existing services or power cables?

  • Are data point termination clearly labelled?

  • Has all cable termination points in cabinet been clearly labelled?
