Aircraft Arrival

  • Are all staff at stand before aircraft arrive?

  • Are Live animal cage checked before loading on aircraft (Cage door, cracks in cage)

  • Are Live animal secured correctly in the aircraft hold

  • Are bagtags on each bag checked before loading on aircraft (Flightnumber, Date, Destination)

  • Are transfer baggage separated from local baggage when loaded on the aircraft

  • Are "Match bags", "Stand By bags" and "Expedite bags" left outside the aircraft until dispatcher approves loading

  • Are ULD's placed in the aircraft with openings facing cargohold doors?

  • Are cargo/mail documents placed in the designated document folder/bag

  • Are Dangerous Goods, properly secured in the aircraft

  • Are HEA properly secured in the aircraft

  • Are the rules of the red "Do not load higher than this line" followed

  • Are ULD locks, raised in no-fit positions

  • Are all nettings fastened. (Also in no-fit positions)

  • Are nosegear hydraulics disconectet by switch/bypass pin before connecting pushback

  • Are pushback connectet to the aircraft 5 min. before STD at the latest

  • Are the headsetoperator doing the safety check/walkaround 5 min. before STD at the latest

  • Are headsetoperator performing propper safety check/walkaround, camly & safe.

  • Are headsetoperator looking for FOD when performing safety check/walkaround

  • Are headsetoperator using propper handsignals when Communicating with pushback driver?

  • British Airways/Delta: Are a chock placed in front of aircraft nosegear, before disconnecting towbar

  • Are towbar disconnected from pushback BEFORE being disconnected from Aircraft

  • Does pushback block aircraft taxipath while visible from cockpit, after disconnect (To protect headsetoperator)

  • Are headsetoperator clear of aircraft taxipath before giving final clearence/show by-pass pin

  • Does staff remove all GSE before leaving the stand

Efficiency Stands

  • Have groundstaff positioned themselves accordingly before aircraft arrives

  • Are aft stairs put on aircraft
