(Step 1) INSTALLATION

  • Check unit exterior for visual damage. Dents, scratches, broken hardware

  • Unit properly supported

  • Ensure equipment is level

  • Access doors are operable and sealed

  • Cabinet doors checked for proper adjustment

  • Ensure no labels are missing, incluiding exterior Arc Flash labeling

  • Inspect for scratches, dents, and rust on exterior of equipment. Note and report all damage

  • Inspect for scratches, dents, and rust on interior of equiptment. Note and report all damage

  • Unit is properly anchored to concrete pad per seismic specification

  • Top section is set, with all split brackets bolted and torqued per install guide

  • Top/bottom section split surfaces properly sealed per install guide

  • Lifting lugs have been removed from top and bottom sections

  • All compartments are free from any sign of mold or water intrusion

  • Duct connections are properly mounted and sealed

  • Verify interior of unit is clean and is clear of debris, dirt and loose hardware

  • Verify Electrical and Control Cabinets are Clean, Vacuum cabinet and top of components

  • Insulation undamaged on evaporative cooler (Leave Drain line coverings until level 3 is complete)

  • Verify all shipping materials and covers have been removed (Leave Drain line coverings until level 3 is complete)

  • Drain/Supply lines are properly routed and secured to unit

  • Check Light Switch for damage

  • Check Receptacle damage

  • Verify Megnahelic gauge, verify scale and calibrate to ZERO

  • Verify Outdoor Air sensor is brought out into outdoor air plenum and installed

  • Verify labels on Receptacle, Light switch and magnehelic

  • Verify control cabinet door devices are labeled

  • 480 VAC circuits have been properly routed/terminated by others

  • UPS 120 VAC circuits have been properly routed/terminated by others

  • Light/Recp. 120 VAC circuits have been properly routed/terminated by others

  • Note all devices installed by others and completion of install (If Applicable)

  • Outdoor Air Sensor 1 and 2

  • Return Air Actuator 1 Thru 4

  • Outdoor Air Actuator 1 Thru 4

  • All factory defects and missing parts completed and installed

Mixed Air Compartment Lower Section

  • Verify Pre filters are 2" DEEP PLEATED FILTER MERV 8

  • Verify Final Filters are a 22" DEEP BAG FILTER MERV 13

  • Air filters in proper condition/Verify installed correctly

  • Filter rack is secure with no loose hardware

  • Verify tubing routed and secured properly, not kinked

  • Area around media in M/A compartment sealed properly

  • Verify all media is in place and correct direction

  • Verify M/A Temp sensor routed and secured properly

  • Verify all Junctions and devices are labeled

  • Desiccant bags/Protective floor matting has been removed

  • Verify Area is floor is clean and free of debris

Mixed Air Compartment Upper Section

  • Verify Pre filters are 2" DEEP PLEATED FILTER MERV 8

  • Verify Final Filters are a 22" DEEP BAG FILTER MERV 13

  • Air filters in proper condition/Verify installed correctly

  • Filter rack is secure with no loose hardware

  • Verify tubing routed and secured properly, not kinked

  • Area around media in M/A compartment sealed properly

  • Verify all media is in place and correct direction

  • Verify M/A Temp sensor routed and secured properly

  • Verify all Junctions and devices are labeled

  • Desiccant bags/Protective floor matting has been removed

  • Verify Area and floor is clean and free of debris

EVAP Compartment Lower Section

  • Verify all plumbing connections are properly installed and tight

  • Verify showerheads are adjusted properly

  • Verify showerhead hardware is secured with no loose components

  • Remove dropstop and inspect front of media for damage,proper alignment

  • Install all winterized components

  • Set Topaz ball float to proper height and adjust mounting as needed

  • Set HL,OL, and LL to designed height per spec

  • Verify drain valve/actuator position,210VDC is correct and B side of actuator used

  • Verify Fill/Flush valve/actuator position is correct and B side of actuator is used

  • Verify Overflow installed correctly and adjust as needed

  • Verify stage valves have been adjusted properly per spec

  • Verify factory installed lower pump FSB is installed and routed and secured

  • Verify Upper exterior access door is bolted shut

  • Check backdraft dampers for proper operation and adjust weights as needed

  • Check for any binding in between the actuator and the Bypass damper. Verify all damper hardware is tight. Ubolts, damper jack shaft, etc

  • Manually operate Bypass dampers, Verify they close completely and spring return CLOSE

  • Manually spin fans, verify they spin freely with no resistance

  • Verify UV return line extends into sump a minimum of 8 inches

  • Verify circuit setter for UV light is adjusted per spec

  • Verify proper installation of Drain and fill valves/actuators

  • Check sump pan for debris and clean as necessary

  • Access doors for top and bottom checked for proper adjustment

  • Ensure all multi port block connectors are connected, and undamaged

  • Verify all components are labeled

  • Flow control valves

  • Circuit 1, 2, 3, 4

  • Flow proving switch

  • Constant Flow Valves

  • UV Light

  • Fill control valve

  • Drain control valve

  • Flush control valve

  • Float level sensors

  • MultiPort connectors

  • Spot leak detector

  • Remove desiccant bags and protective floor mats

  • Walkway grating is secure with no loose hardware

  • Pressure tubing for top and bottom has been connected and routed properly

  • Check for any binding in between the actuator and the SA damper. Verify all damper hardware is tight. Ubolts, damper joiner plates, etc

  • Manually operate Supply air dampers, Verify they close completely and spring return OPEN

  • Verify Supply air damper actuators are labeled

  • Fan motors Record the following:

  • Quantity: Model#: Voltage/PH/Hz: HP: RPM: FLA:

  • Connect Upper DP tubing between upper and lower level

  • Perform a leak test on DP tubing to ensure pressure holds Upper Pre filter

  • Perform a leak test on DP tubing to ensure pressure holds Upper Final filter

  • Perform a leak test on DP tubing to ensure pressure holds Lower Pre filter

  • Perform a leak test on DP tubing to ensure pressure holds Lower Final filter

  • Verify Temperature sensor Installed and labeled

  • Verify Humidity Sensor installed and labeled

  • Verify all connectors are tight on Molex or phoenix block and labeled

  • Verify All cables connecting to the molex or phoenix block are labeled

  • Access doors for top and bottom checked for proper adjustment

  • Fan protective screens are secure with no loose hardware

Supply AIr Section Upper

  • Humidity 420ma circuit complete

  • Supply 420ma temp sensor complete

  • SF 712 COMM set connected

  • SF712 Speed set connected

  • Molex blocks 47 sets connected

  • Route interconnects along tray to panel and secure properly

  • Supply motors have been Ohm'd out with MP in open position

CONTROLS CABINET

  • Verify all components are installed in the Controls cabinet

  • Check/Tighten all screw terminals

  • Tug test all wires in controls panel

  • Check that all devices are in place and labeled

  • Verify all drawings are located in cabinet

  • Verify Dip switches on controllers are set correctly Refer to Controls Drawing

  • Ensure all devices "installed by others" have been installed, wired correctly and labeled

  • Remove all desiccant bags, shipping material inside and debris metal shavings, screws, etc

MAIN POWER CABINET

  • Verify all components are installed in the power cabinet are correctly sized

  • Verify Main disconnect line side cables are terminated and torque marked

  • Check/Tighten all screw terminals

  • Tug test all wires in electrical panel

  • Proper grounding installed for components and unit

  • Check that all devices are in place and labeled

  • Set pump motor overloads and record setting

  • Verify Main disconnect selector rod does not interfere with operation of opening or closing the door when disconnect is OPEN or CLOSED

  • Motor Protectors have been set for proper load protection

  • Ensure all devices "installed by others" have been installed, wired correctly and labeled

  • Remove all desiccant bags, shipping material inside and debris metal shavings, screws, etc
