Do welders have a copy of their welding certs with them?

Do welders have a copy of the applicable weld procedure?

Is the inspector present?

Have you verified pipe grade, wall thickness and size with the correct welding procedure?

Were the Foreman, Inspector and Welder involved in verification?

Have you verified pipe and fittings match the drawings? (Wall thickness, grade, size all match?)

Are the bevels buffed back 1 inch inside and out?

Does what you're building match the drawings?

VERIFY: Have you confirmed an RFI has been turned in for the change?

Does the weld require pre-heat?

Do welder helpers have the proper temp sticks on them to verify pre-heat?

Are only applicable welding rods in bucket?

Are you installing a valve?

Did you place weld shield inside the valve, or has the valve already been pupped out?

Did you verify the weld shield has been cleared out?

Are you using Lo-Hi Rods?

Have Lo-Hi rods been stored/handled correctly?

Have you opened a new can or are using a rod oven?

Are splatter mats utilized to prevent coating damage?

Is grounding lead properly secured so it will not come off the pipe?
