Condition of Usage

  • You are required to work within the Health and Safety Policy of Beck Theatre and HQ Theatres & Hospitality.

    You are to ensure that all the statutory requirements of the work in hand are met.

    All accidents must be reported to the person nominated as the Point of Contact

    All injuries, no matter how minor, must be entered in the Accident Book

    Smoking is only allowed in designated areas.

    All personnel must be conversant with the escape routes from their place of work

    You must provide certificates of safety where required.

    You must be able to provide Risk Assessments for firing of pyrotechnics

    You are required to leave your work area in a safe condition after stopping work. Dangerous equipment/materials and hazardous substances must be stored safely and securely. All unused/partially used substances must be removed from the Organisations property on completion of work or contract.

    EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

    On discovering a fire, activate the nearest Manual Call Point and retire to a safe place. If it is safe to do so, wait in the vicinity for staff to arrive so you can explain the situation. If not, make your way to the nearest Fire Exit and leave the building. Proceed to the Assembly Point outside in the car park.

    On hearing the full alarm, stop what you are doing and wait for further instructions, evacuate the building through the nearest available fire exit and proceed to the Assembly Point outside in the car park.
