  • Are leads, plugs and switches in good condition and protected from damage?

  • Do multi-outlet power boards comply with Australian Standards, incl. electric current overload switch?

  • Double adaptors and piggy back plugs are prohibited. Are any in use?

First Aid

  • Are first aid kits clearly located?

  • Are first aid kits adequately stocked to suit the tasks being carried out?

  • Are contents within their expiry date?

  • Is there signage indicating who first aiders are and emergency contact numbers?

Fire and Emergencies

  • Have fire extinguishers / hoses been checked and are serviceable?

  • Is there any clutter blocking access to fire equipment?

  • Are emergency exits clearly marked and pathway clear?

  • Is there signage indicating who fire/emergency wardens are?

  • Is the emergency evacuation route and designated muster point clearly displayed?

  • Has any emergency evacuation drill been carried out in last 12 months? Record date of last drill.
