Bus Bar & Finger Safe Cover Modification (3 per string)

  • Tape off back of the busbar assembly to prevent contact with copper that mates with the cell terminals

  • Number the voltage taps (tin-plated) beginning from the most negative busbar (e.g. 1-, 1+. 2+, 3+,…)

  • Unseat the most negative voltage tap (tin plated) labeled "1-" and every voltage tap number greater than "35+" and secure off the side of the busbar assembly for later use

  • Remove copper busbars that the voltage taps were removed from

  • Remove plastic areas that have had the copper busbar removed

  • Cut Voltage taps (40 & 42) to # inch lengths from voltage tap #. Strip, crimp and set into Molex 2-pin connector mark 42 as ground with silver sharpie

  • Cut Voltage taps (44 & 46) to # inch lengths from voltage tap # . Strip, crimp and set into Molex 2-pin connector Mark 46 as ground with silver sharpie

  • Using template, cut 3 finger safe plastics to
