Check location of sewerage main

Check for clearance from any easements

Is the top of the roof ridge straight (not bowed) and properly screwed

Is the ridge flashing scribed to corrugated profile

Barge gable end flashing properly installed and trek screwed

Guttering properly installed

Is the roof sheeting properly screwed down through the ridges of the sheeting

Check for accidental screw holes that could allow water

Are down pipes secured and connected to pipelines to convey roof water away

Check adjoining properties are protected from roofwater

Are Windows properly flashed and water sealed

Check slab has acceptable finish and no large cracks

Batters stabilised

Internal framework installed correctly and columns secured to the floor

Check diagonal wind bracing in wall and roof installed correctly

Check if require leg bracing or fly bracing installed to purloin rafters

Check if wall sheeting and roof sheeting screwed off in straight lines
