Are the levels of balance ponds or SUDs reflective of recent weather conditions ? For example, is the pond full after a long spell of dry weather as this may indicate it is not draining and a blockage is present.

Do balance ponds have clear identification of the waters edge ? For example with planting or distinctive edging.
