Method Steps

1. Confirms assignment from Supervisor

2. Operator selects efficient picking order and start location.

3. Travels to empty pallet area to obtain correct platform type using a direct route.

4. Travels to selected pick location in most direct route possible.
-
5. Operator verifies location and product are correct before picking cases.
-
6. Parks lift next to pick location, aligns pallet with pick bay to reduce walking distance.
-
7. Cut and remove plastic wrap as necessary to start pick.
-
8. Operator selects and confirms correct amount of cases in smooth and continuous motion
-
9. Operator places cases on pallet without multiple touches or movements
-
10. Builds shippable ready pallet. Wraps pallet from top to bottom.

11. Selects all cases within two bays without moving equipment.
-
12. Records product picked on sheet writing down case count and date code accordingly
-
13. Clamping applicable only if pick required 4 layers or more
-
14. If inventory issue exist, follow appropriate warehouse procedures to resolve.

15. Proceeds to designated staging area in direct route depositing pallet in the correct manner
-
16. Repeat steps 3 - 14 until sheet is finished

17. Cleans appropriate areas and hauls off all materials that aren't needed.

18. Turns completed sheet into designated box.

19. Notifies Supervisor when sheet is finished to start next task.
