  • Has a safety plan or job safety analysis been reviewed?

  • Have critical operations and/or air traffic been identified?

  • Have overhead obstructions and/or power lines been identified?

  • Have weather conditions and wind speeds acceptable to crane operator?

  • Crane Operator has current NCCCO card and is qualified for the crane being used?

  • Is annual crane certification current?

  • Are all emergency devices functioning properly?(anti 2-block, etc.)

  • Have ground conditions been evaluated and accepted by crane operator?

  • Are outriggers being utilized per manufacturer requirements?

  • Is swing radius protection and barricading in place?

  • Crane lift checklist shall be completed in conjunction with the safety huddle. Completed checklists shall be forwarded to the Coastal Mechanical Safety Manager within 24 hours of lift completion.
