Conveyor Belt

  • Inspect condition of the splice. Check the skives / saddles, cracking of the steps, splice lifting or signs of delamination. (Splice in good condition).

Drive Pulley

  • Inspect condition of the lagging. (If worn to wear indicator there is 10 - 15% life remaining).

Snubber Pulley

  • Inspect condition of the pulley lagging. (If worn to wear indicator there is 10 - 15% life remaining).

Head Pulley

  • Inspect condition of the pulley lagging. (If worn to wear indicator there is 10 - 15% life remaining).

Tail Pulley

  • Inspect condition of the pulley lagging. (If worn to wear indicator there is 10 - 15% life remaining).

Bend Pulley

  • Inspect condition of the pulley lagging. (If worn to wear indicator there is 10 - 15% life remaining).

Tripper Pulleys(If Applicable)

  • Inspect condition of the pulley lagging. (If worn to wear indicator there is 10 - 15% life remaining).

V Plough

  • Inspect ploughs for loose or worn components and security of mounts and bolts. Ensure safety chain in-tact and secure and turnbuckles for damage. (Ploughs in good order and secure).

Return Roller

  • Realign any roller tagged for potential misalignment. (All rollers aligned and functioning correctly).

Return Tracking Frames

  • Check condition of Return tracking frame servo rollers adjusting bolts and free up/lubricate as required (Tracker working as designed).

  • Check the Return tracking frames rotation mechanism to confirm function. (Frame rotating freely).

  • Inspect function of Return Tracking frame centre bearings, ensure all bolts are secure and that servo rollers are functional. (Tracker working as designed).

Trough Roller Frames

  • Check security of mounts, brackets and frames. (All secure).

Trough Tracking Roller Frames

  • Check condition of trough tracking frame servo rollers adjusting bolts and free up/lubricate as required (Tracker working as designed).

  • Check the trough tracking frames rotation mechanism to confirm function. (Frame rotating freely).

  • Inspect function of Trough Tracking frame centre bearings, ensure all bolts are secure and that servo rollers are functional. (Tracker working as designed).

Stacker Tripper

  • Carry out visual inspection of rubber hold down wheel and note excessive wear that may cause damage to belt. Ensure wheels are in correct position. (Wheels in good condition).
