  • Are there adequate markings around the boarding gates and boarding area to ensure social distancing is being adhered to?

  • Does the boarding agent use the approved boarding announcement that has been issued to them in regard to passengers wearing face coverings?

  • Is the boarding agent proactive in ensuring social distancing is being adhered to during the boarding process?

  • Does the boarding agent avoid handling the passengers travel documentation? (Boarding card, ID etc.)

  • Does the boarding agent follow the correct procedure when tagging hand baggage at the boarding gate?

  • Are passengers boarded through the boarding gate in small numbers to ensure social distancing can be maintained right through to boarding the aircraft?

  • Do the ground staff present around the aircraft monitor the passengers as they are boarding to ensure that social distance guidelines are being adhered to?

  • Ramp/Dispatch

  • Are all ground personnel adhering to social distance guidelines where possible, if they cannot keep the appropriate distance whilst completing their duties do, they have adequate face coverings to ensure their safety and the safety of their colleagues around them?

  • Do all ramp agents ensure they are wearing their face coverings when they go onboard the aircraft and ensure they maintain social distance as much as possible?

  • Is the dispatcher wearing an adequate face covering at all times when they are onboard the aircraft and when communicating with cabin crew and flight deck?

  • PRM/Fuel Operator

  • Does the PRM operator have an adequate face covering on at all times when they are assisting a passenger?

  • If they are communicating with the cabin crew on board are they maintaining the required social distance where possible and wearing their face covering?
