Before Starting be sure to LOCK Machine OUT Power & Air

CRIMPER:

  • Lockout Machine.

  • Check main panel disconnect switch is in working order & able to lock out.

  • Check pneumatic lock out is in working order.

  • Check function of emergency stop and operator safety devices including door interlock.<br>

  • Check operators controls and indicators HMI

  • Ensure that all safety guards are in place & in working order.

  • Inspect all hose clamps for rigidity.

  • Check motors bearings for vibration and noises.<br>

  • Empty and clean drip tray.

  • Inspect all pneumatic system, valves, air cylinders, connections, fittings, check for air leaks.

  • Inspect hydraulic system for proper operation, check connections for oil leaks.

  • Inspect and replace if necessary cams on rotary grippers.<br>

  • Inspect all pressure gauges for functionality

  • Ensure machine is clean

  • Check hydraulic fluid level

  • Check for oil leak on hydraulic cylinders, valves, seals, hose couplings, filter connections and tank.

  • Clean all electrical motor, grease if applicable & inspect motor coupling.

  • Check all proximity and cylinder position switches for visible damage and secure mounting.

  • Check wires for secure mounting and tighten all connectors.

  • Inspect pump for excessive noise.

  • Verity operation of pressure gauge.

  • Inspect hydraulic pump front end seal for leak.

  • Inspect condition of crimp dies.

  • Inspect high pressure valve is in working order. Test & record reading from gauge.
