  • Has the Daily Start Card been reviewed with the crew?

  • Is the Work Danger Zone clearly delineated around pile driving operation?

  • Crane is level and soil conditions are good under each out-rigger or track?

  • Crane swing protection radius is up?

  • Power lines, overhead obstructions and utilities (USA) are identified?

  • All fall protection, including what is attached to leads has been inspected?

  • Inspected bolts, guides, welds, rigging on the hammer, primary & follower?

  • An additional visual inspection for cracks has been made?<br>

  • Correct pins in place (8" for 32" leads or 10" for 26" leads)?

  • Daily inspections for support equipment have been completed?

  • A spill kit is on-site, housekeeping complete and obstructions removed?

  • All pinch points have been identified in the Daily Start Card?<br>

  • Holes are covered and uneven ground has been leveled out?

  • Rigging has been inspected and capacity tags are in place and legible?<br>

  • Unused rigging has been properly stored?

  • A fire extinguisher is present and in working order?<br>

  • All vehicles, company and personal, are safely parked?<br>

  • Rebar caps are on pile rebar dowels and extra caps are available?<br>

  • Is hearing protection being utilized?<br>
