Structure Condition

  • Inspect the base ground for damage or corrosion. Repair or clean the ground attachments as needed.

  • Inspect access ladders, catwalks and safety line for any visible damage.

  • Inspect trim system for any damage.

  • Is the Adams logo fastened correctly (centered on skirt)

  • How is overall condition of Skirt/apron?

PM Checklist

  • Manufacturer

  • Enter digital face manufacturer name

  • Contact manufacturer service center to inform you are onsite

  • Photograph The Display for attachment to the ticket ID

  • Look at the display face for any visual issues. (repair/replace as needed when on structure)

  • Verify white balance visually. Report any variances to the NOC for remote adjustments.

  • Calibrate any single modules as needed after making any adjustments to the entire face color balance.

Control System

  • Inspect the componenets of the control system for any visible corrosion. Apply electrical grease as needed to all ethernet points.

  • Clean and inspect control box filters.

  • Test the control fan system by turning down the temp selector on the control unit.

  • Inspect wireless antenna mounts and connectors for damage or corrosion. Clean as needed with electrical grease.

  • Inspect photocell for damage and operation. Cover the unit and verify dimming of the display.

  • Test redundant PC operation by disconnecting both ethernet cables to the primary PC. Verify control transfer to redundant PC.

  • If accessible, clean the camera housing lens and verify any adjustments that may be needed.

  • Check for any unsecured control lines external to the sign.

Digital Face

  • Replace or clean Filter material in all cabinets

  • Explain issue or upload photo

  • Inspect all cabinets for signs of corrosion or water.

  • Explain issue or upload photo

  • Inspect operation of all power supply fans while in cabinet, Replace power supplies with failed fans.

  • Explain issue or upload photo

  • Visually inspect AC connections on power supplies for secure fit.

  • Verify closure of all door latches upon completion of each cabinet. Re-verify all doors are closed prior to exiting the structure.

  • Inspect control cards, (Formetco) MLC (Daktronics) eFlares (watchfire) for signs of corrosion. Apply dielectric grease as needed.

Spare Parts Box

  • Inspect spare parts enclosure for any signs of water intrusion.

  • Explain issue or upload photo
