Externals

  • Is the perimeter clean & well presented (check for weeds and litter)?

  • Has the car park been swept?

  • Are the hedges trimmed in the car park?

  • Is the flag attached and flying at full mast?

  • External furniture and barriers out, clean and set appropriately?

Bar & Customer Area

  • Is the furniture layout presentable and correct for the day (front tables removed and only 4 bar stools left for busy weekend service)?

  • Fresh flowers on all bar tables - water replenished?

  • Bar menus available and clean on all tables (check correct promo page in back page of menu book)?

  • Music playing at appropriate volume and playlist?

  • All corridor and internal doors to bar area closed?

  • Window panes all clean?

  • Has the daily team plan been completed (if there is no F&B mgr/TL complete for them)? Ensure all staff know their responsibilities for the day. Any absence/lateness recorded and passed to duty manager.

  • Are the function sheets for today available and staff aware of today's events?

  • All meeting & function rooms been set up as per the function sheets?

Office & Admin

  • Weekly figures spreadsheet completed and e-mailed to Christine/Mark - ensure sales figures are multiplied by 1.2 to include VAT<br>Any large bookings or sales uplifts, please add in to the notes.

  • All dept's fully aware of today's Promos or offers, bookings, including updates on any changes, numbers, menus, room layouts etc?

  • Have reception updated the "daily information" for rooms?

  • How many rooms to sell today? Any rooms blocked off - include reason (maintenance etc)

BOH areas and Corridors

  • Any cleanliness issues in public areas reported to Klaudia/HK for completion?

  • Uppy room tidy? If not assign to an employee to complete

  • Is the landing in front of the Uppy room clear? This is a FIRE EXIT and must be kept clear at all times - no bar trolley left here!

  • Main bar - clean & tidy (check behind/under/sides of fridges and/or equipment)?

  • Champ Bar clean & tidy?

  • Atrium Bar clean & tidy?

  • Washroom clean & tidy; bins/bottle bins taken out from previous night and washed, check under equipment for cleanliness?

  • Cellar clean and tidy with all deliveries put away?

Health & Safety

  • All Fire Exits clear and free from obstruction?

  • Light bulbs all working in corridors or public areas - ensure full walk around checking function rooms and restaurant etc?

  • All maintenance issues reported? Any new jobs please select "No" and add notes as required.

  • All doors closed and, where applicable, locked if "DIGI" lock available? Check rear gate closed at ALL times!!
