Bars, Restaurant, Functions rooms & Cellar

  • Deliveries all put away (check that no stock left on cellar stairs)

  • Cellar cleaned and tidied (stock decanted, empty barrels moved, stock rotated)

  • Main bar closed down as per closedown checklist - refer to "bar close SOP"

  • Atrium bar closed down and left tidy

  • Chilled wines all replenished in fridges (check White, Rose & Sparkling)

  • All tables in bar and customer areas cleared of glasses

  • Restaurant laid for breakfast - setup has breakfast buffet around island

  • Atrium laid up for service, unless otherwise required - check function sheets

  • Sir Galahad set up conference style, unless otherwise required - check function sheets

  • Plimsol Line set up for afternoon tea, unless otherwise required - check function sheets

  • Any room set up amendments communicated to night porter to ensure completed for next day

General & Security

  • Rear gate to bin store locked

  • All fire exits clear - complete full walk around and through building

  • External furniture all taken in and stored away tidily

  • Decking cleared of all glasses - check no customers using deck as per licensing policy

  • All internal doors closed, and locked where applicable

  • Dirty linen taken over to laundry

Admin & Cash etc

  • Cash up and banking completed as per policy - ensure signed and dated

  • All cash balanced and tills refloated

  • All voids, refunds and overrides explained and receipt with explanation added to banking file

  • Handover completed with porters for any advocates items
