Safe Isolation Procedures

  • Has engineer been issued with suitable equipment to carry out Safe Isolation as per Industry Guidance?

  • Are engineers aware of Electrical Safety First, Best practice Guide 2 Issue 3 and have a copy for reference.

  • Confirm with engineer that Safe Isolation Procedures are followed at all times. (Engineer to demonstrate correct process)

Conclusion

  • Inspectors comments and overview from site visit. Record any discussion, key points, actions, any training needs and CPD record. etc

  • Based on today's findings and discussions I recommend the following follow up visit: Normal Monitoring - no schedule set for follow-up visit Enhanced Monitoring - follow-up visit to be scheduled within 1 month Focused Monitoring - follow-up visit to be scheduled within 1 week
