Container Inspection

Perform a walk-around to verify walls, support rails, and lifting corner posts are in good working order

Loading

Take a picture at 25% of the loaded container.

Take a picture at 90% of the loaded container.

Is the cargo loaded by an experienced forklift operator?

Is product loaded and secured properly with no gaps or open spaces between product?

Build a brace or apply Tygard wrap to secure the last pallets loaded

Build a container door brace or apply Tygard wrap to secure the load

Post-Loading

Perform final inspection and verification of loaded contents

Verify manifest and make changes as necessary

Identify if container needs be labeled with any hazardous material placards

Take pictures of placarded container (even if placards are not required)

Close the container and apply the issued seal
-
Take a picture of the seal bolted/placed onto the container once loaded
-
Take a close up picture of the seal number
