Top Floor

  • Are all cleaning sheets up to date?

  • Check lights, ceiling, walls, floor, doors and windows for powder of residue.

  • Door jams and on the floor around sliding or swinging doors.

  • Floor under computer cabinet.

  • Pay special attention to floor behind fluid bed dryer, as well as the area under the gral bowl.

  • Be sure to check the top and bottom of the various outlets, displays, and phone boxes that protrude from the production room walls.

  • Check floor scale area for residual product and the presence of water.

  • With a flash light examine the charge chute for any residual product or streaking.

  • Do any of the above items require further attention? If so document with comments and photos.

  • Check inside of fluid bed dryer.

  • Check integrity of explosion proof lid gaskets.

  • With a flash light check product contact surfaces below the XP lids for residue or streaking.

  • Check the top ledge of the bag seal track as well as any part of the bag seal track that is visible.

  • Check exterior of fluid bed dryer

  • Pay special attention to the exhaust duck work area, particularly underneath the duct work.

  • Check any ledges, overhangs, or protrusions from the fluid bed (i.e. the manhole access points).

  • Complete visual inspection of gral bowl.

  • Examine product contact surfaces of the gral bowl for residue or streaking.

  • Check the gral discharge valve assembly for product.

  • Check the entire exterior of the gral bowl, including underneath the gral.

  • Do any of the above items require further attention? If so document with comments and photos.

  • Check the wall mounted gral gear housing, lid, support arms, impellers, and chopper blades.

  • With a ladder, examine the top of the gral gear housing for product build up or debris of any kind.

  • Inspect all sight glass, gral sock, and probe ports that exist on the top of the gral.

  • Inspect the interior ceiling of the gral, particularly where the impeller and chopper blades attach.

  • Inspect the impeller and chopper blades for residual product or streaking.

  • Inspect the support arms, air lines, hoses, and base support beams.

  • Do any of the above items require further attention? If so document with comments and photos.

  • Have all small parts and ancillary equipment that were also cleaned with production room been checked for cleanliness?

  • Has the floor of the back closet in the production been adequately dried?

  • Overall is the production room ready for the AQL check?

Middle Floor

  • Are all cleaning sheets up to date?

  • Check lights, ceiling, walls, floor, doors and windows for product or residue

  • Check door jams and on the floor around sliding or swinging doors.

  • Floor under computer cabinet if applicable.

  • Pay special attention to the area near the inlet duct work.

  • Be sure to check the top and bottom of the various outlets, displays, and phone boxes that protrude from the production room walls.

  • Check floor scale area for residual product and the presence of water.

  • With a flash light examine the charge chute protruding from the ceiling.

  • Do any of the above items require further attention? If so document with comments and photos.

  • With a flash light check inside of fluid bed dryer above the product bowl.

  • Examine the bag seal track area for residual product.

  • Inspect air pressure sensor that is just below the bag seal for moisture or product.

  • From inside the dryer, inspect the charge chute as it extends upward toward the ceiling.

  • Inspect sight glass and gun port openings.

  • Do any of the above items require further attention? If so document with comments and photos.

  • Inspect product bowl interior.

  • Examine contact surfaces of product bowl interior for residual product or streaking.

  • Inspect product temperature probe and sample thief ports for product.

  • Inspect screen piston ports and the area where they make entry into the product bowl.

  • Inspect sight glass opening.

  • Do any of the above items require further attention? If so document with comments and photos.

  • Inspect plenum and lower chamber area of fluid bed dryer.

  • Inspect inlet air plenum interior, paying close attention to the inlet area interior duct work and the inlet air temp. probe port if applicable. Take note of any residual product or streaking in this area.

  • Examine all product contact surfaces of the outer plenum. Take note of any residual product or streaking in this area.

  • Continue product contact surface inspection down into the funnel area of the fluid bed dryer. Take note of any residual product or streaking in this area.

  • Do any of the above items require further attention? If so document with comments and photos.

  • Check the fluid bed dryer exterior including attached hoses, and the structural support legs of the dryer.

  • Vertical support beams

  • On top of winch housings if applicable.

  • Hoses, tubing, and cords that are present on the fluid bed.

  • Examine product screen piston assemblies.

  • Inspect product bowl seal track

  • Do any of the above items require further attention? If so document with comments and photos.

  • Have all small parts and ancillary equipment that were also cleaned with the production room been checked for cleanliness?
