Fire Safety Walk and Testings

  • "Review roof top door locks, or a panic bar/releasing device with alarm and a CCTV are kept locked and can only accessible in the event of emergency?<br>(must have a sign on the inside indicating that the door is alarmed, only for authorized personnel and to be used in emergency situations only.)"<br><br><br>

Swimming Pool Local Code Compliance (Greater China Region only)

Does the hotel have a whirlpool?

Fitness Center

  • Does the Hotel (or a 3rd party) operate fitness center at the Hotel?

  • Is there a panic button and an emergency phone installed which dial directly to PABX emergency line and working in order?

  • Is fitness center accessible via a key card system and in working condition?

  • Pull Station Assembly and manual call points are visible and accessible without any obstructions and defect free?

  • Are fire blankets located in all kitchen areas which contain deep fryers?

  • On duty Team Members are well aware on the procedures on what to do in the event of fire in the kitchen, i.e on how to switch off the emergency gas valve, activating pull station, use of fire blanket, fire extinguisher and nearest fire exit and location of our assembly area?

Kitchen Hygiene Inspection

  • Ice Machine: Internal/external surfaces visually clean and scoop immersed in dilute sanitizer?

  • Do refrigerator display units maintain temperature below 4.5 degrees C?

Dishwashing Machine Temperatures

  • Do dishwasher wash temperature meet the standard min 60 degrees?

  • Do dishwasher rinse temperature meet the standard min 82 degrees?

CCTV, Door Alarm Monitoring and Walkie Talkie

  • Are all CCTV cameras in working order?

  • Is CCTV system connected to back up power source or emergency power, tested and in working order?

  • CCTV footage be printed and downloaded?

  • Is CCTV recorder set to record up to 31 days?

  • Door Access Control System in place e.g. grade level exit, roof top panic alarm and all related doors are in working order?

  • A walkie talkie "Base Station" must be located within the security dispatch office and all base station communications equipment and repeater(s) must be connected to an emergency power supply sufficient backup battery of (four (4) hours minimum).

Fire Alarm Panel

  • Are there any identified deficiencies on the fire alarm system including 'trouble' and fault' conditions found during audit? If yes, summary listing ALL the defects with corrective action plan to be in place with timescale? [Points will only be accorded if the system is without faults/trouble]

  • Does the hotel use isolation and de-isolation logs for all fire alarm related isolations as per fire book and a log is in place for any system impairment?

Emergency Equipments

  • Does hotel have a stretcher for use in emergencies?

  • Does hotel have a wheelchair for use in emergencies?

  • Does hotel have emergency Oxygen tank for use in emergencies and in working order?

  • First responders: 2 sets of Breathing apparatus and spare cylinder available?

  • First responders fire retardant suit with gloves, hard hat and gloves at minimum 2 pairs?
