OVERALL CONDITION OF TRUCK

  • Overall condition of truck is good

  • Cab and bed: Clean and items secured

  • First Aid Kit: Stocked, expiration dates checked

  • Fire Extinguisher: Mounted, secured, covered if outside, monthly inspection is current

  • DOT and other documents: Copy of current vehicle registration, insurance

  • Safe access: Cab steps clean and grab bar in good condition.

  • Steps and handrails in good condition

  • DOT triangles: Reflective warning if truck is disabled along the road

  • Signage: No Smoking, etc

  • Wheel chocks are proper size (should be orange color)

  • Cargo securement (chains, straps, boomers, etc) are free of defects

  • Locks and tags available for all Lockout / Tagout tasks
