  • GBIS - Great British Insulation Scheme is a single measure fully funded insulation scheme that aims to deliver Cavity Wall Insulation or Loft Insulation. Loft Insulation needs to be at a maximum thickness of 100mm. Cavity Wall Insulation needs to be an empty cavity or we may be able to perform a client funded extraction providing that the current retrofit material is fibre or foam and we can clearly identify defectiveness. inline with PAS2035 we have a clear obligation to ensure that where we add any fabric measure to a property we must ensure the property is adequately ventilated also. With this we must add Decentralised Mechanical Ventilation (DMEVs) to wet rooms alongside door undercuts and trickle vents to habitable rooms or if there is a vent limitation we may install a Positive Input Vent (PIV) alongside trickle vents to all wet rooms & habitable rooms alongside required door undercuts with the same rooms. Please ensure that there is a viable measure to the property, all ventilation is installable with no access isses that may impede any installation.
