  • 7. 5 - Oily rags & combustible refuse disposed of correctly (refuse in metal containers) & (sent off as prescribed waste)

  • 7. 7 - Are guards in place & we'll maintained

  • 7.8 - Starting & stopping devices within easy reach of operator

  • 7. 9 - Waste cut offs removed and stored safely

  • 7. 11 - Does all machinery have appropriate labelling (pinch points, hot surface etc)

  • 7. 13 - General condition of racks & pallets good (weight signage applied)

  • 7. 14 - Spill kits available & regularly maintained? Is tamper proof seal in place?

  • 7. 15 - Are special storage conditions applied? (cabinets/bounding etc - no leaks, items stored on top of cabinets)

  • 7. 16 - Gas bottles are secured & labelled

  • 7. 17 - Gas bottles are at least 3m away from ignition source?

  • 7. 18 - Are ladders maintained/audited & logged in register (check rope/pulleys/rungs etc)
