Monthly inspection/service as required.

  • LUBRICATION

  • Take Oil Sample. 500hr intervals

  • Check oil level

  • Check for Oil Leaks

  • Change Engine Oil. @ 500hr intervals

  • Main Oil Filters. Swop @ 250hr intervals

  • Replace all @ 500hr intervals

  • Top up make up tank note amount required

  • Check oil lines and hoses for leaks

Cooling

  • Check coolant level

  • Check for radiator restrictions

  • Check hoses

  • Check belts and pulleys

  • Check sump/water jacket heater

Fuel

  • Check/change fuel filters. Change @ 1000hr intervals

  • Check fuel pump

  • Check fuel quality

  • Check fuel lines for condition

  • AIR/EXHAUST

  • Check exhaust for leaks

  • Check air breathers

  • Check/change air cleaners

  • Check mounting and couplings

PARTS USED FROM SPOTLESS STOCK.

Electrical

  • Battery float voltage at charger gauge.

  • Check boost current

  • Check charger operation

  • Clean/Check battery terminals

  • Check battery isolator

  • Battery last replaced

  • Check electrolyte level

  • Test indicating lamps/display battery.

  • Check Battery Terminals & Record Voltage.

  • Battery 1:

  • Battery 2:

Tune up/Valve set 2000hr intervals.

  • Reset valve and injectors recording any valves that have reduced clearances. Due @ 2000hr intervals.

Housekeeping

  • De-Grease Engine & Wipe Down Alternator. As required.

  • Check for Oil Leaks & Repair If Necessary

  • Clean Out Drip Trays

  • Check Fuel System for Leaks & Repair If Necessary

  • Hose Out Radiator Core clean radiator room. As required.

  • Clean Out Crank Case Breather boxes 2000hr intervals.

  • Clean Out Crank Case Breathers on Engine 1000hr intervals

Test all Engine Shutdown Switches

  • High Water Temperature Sender – Disconnect Plug to test

  • High Oil Temperature Sender – Disconnect Plug to test

  • Low Oil Pressure Sender – Disconnect Plug to test

  • Low Oil Level Murphy Level Switch – Short to earth to test

  • Low Water Level Murphy Level Switch – Turn indicator to low level to test

  • Emergency Stop Push Button at engine

  • Emergency Stop Push Button in control room

Defects/additional work recommended

  • Defects ¬es.

Valve reading/adjustment to be completed @ 2000hr intervals.
