The objective of this audit is to walk away from store with knowledge of all services and equipment serving the store.
This audit provides a comprehensive list of questions that once completed will enable you to create a detailed audit.
Speak to staff as you are walking around store, operation managers, deli, bakery and BOH colleagues, they will be able to give more detail on operating times, maintenance issues and potentially raise behavioural characteristics that are leading to wasted energy, this information can be added into the miscellaneous section at the bottom of each section.
Other items to be added to miscellaneous section area:
• Potential heat loss problems in room, i.e are the all ceiling tiles installed in offices
• Potential heat loss Warehouses – are loading bays doors left open?
• Potential heat loss Warehouse vehicle ventilation grills, are they still required?
• Control Strategies to help save energy – i.e external door sensors in warehouse (cutting power to heaters when doors are open)
• Control Strategy – Door Century on Cold room doors
• Shop floor changes, Could a proposed layout help save energy (bakery/deli closer together to save on BOH space and or coldroom space)
• If Extract is installed, is it operational?
Where media is required throughout this survey, ensure numerous photos are taken and all asset tags and date stamps are included if present.
