Gym Disclaimer Rules and Requirements
1. Eligibility
-
The gym is strictly for building occupiers over the age of 16 only, users under the age of 16 should be accompanied by an adult. no guests are permitted. All users are required to read and sign the disclaimer to confirm their understanding, BEFORE using the gym and follow its requirements thereafter
2. Health Status
-
All users of the Gym are advised to seek medical consultation and clearance before embarking on any exercise programs, and users are also advised to seek medical advice and clearance should there be any change in their health status (temporary, transient or permanent) after this disclaimer has been signed in the first instance
3. Opening Hours
-
The Gym is open 24hours Monday to Sunday with fob access only
4. Attire
-
All users must be appropriately dressed. No slippers, sandals or bare feet

Any form of attire which may cause the possible infringement to the safety of yourself or any other user, or potential damage to the equipment are prohibited. Staff on duty reserves the right to decide on the suitability of the sporting attire worn by Gym users. Nudity, including partial nudity, is not permissible
4. Discipline

The management and staff on duty reserve the right to refuse a person’s use of the Gym and / or, if the person is already in the Gym, to prohibit the person from further usage by instructing the person to leave immediately, if in the opinion of the management and staff on duty the person has violated any of the rules and regulations
6. General Conduct
-
Users should refrain from talking loudly or indulging in noisy activities that may annoy or distract other users or any other form of conduct that is deemed inappropriate by the management and staff
7. Use of Equipment
-
All Gym users must familiarise themselves with and observe the instructions and safety precautions pertaining to the use of the exercise equipment - ensuring that particular attention is paid to using correct technique and any safety features such as emergency stop buttons/cords and equipment accessories for this purpose

Gym users will be held responsible for any damage caused to the equipment by them

Users are expected to practice good hygiene and gym etiquette by observing the following:
-
1) Return all equipment to its original place after use
-
2) Damaged or suspected damage equipment must not be used and defects reported to management immediately
-
3) A personal towel must be used at all times. Gym users are not allowed to share towels
-
4) Use of each machine should NOT exceed 30 minutes per session unless no other tenants/users are waiting
-
5) Equipment must be wiped down after use
-
6) No equipment shall be removed from the Gym. Theft or damage will be referred to the police and fob / CCTV evidence will be utilised
8. Prohibitions
-
1) No smoking, eating, drinking of hot or alcoholic drinks, use of drugs or betting is allowed within the Gym

2) Guests are not permitted to use the gym, only residents who have completed a disclaimer are permitted

3) Only drinks contained in proper “non-spill” sports bottles are to be brought into the area
-
4) No personal exercise equipment is allowed to be brought into the Gym. This includes free weights. For safety reasons, all mobile phones and music devices should be made inaudible to other users and properly secured to the body of the owner when exercising

While reasonable safety precautions have been taken in relation to the use of the Gym, use of the Gym is at your own risk. Ebb & Flow shall not be liable for any loss or damage to property or death or personal injury (save for death or personal injury resulting from the negligence of Ebb & Flow), however arising from your use of the Gym

Ebb & Flow reserves the right to add, delete, amend or vary the above rules and regulations at its own discerption at any time as it deems fit, without having to inform or consult with any gym users

Ebb & Flow, 3 Friars Walk, Reading, RG1 1HR (the "Property"), accepts no responsibility for any and all damages, injuries or losses which any person may sustain or incur while attending or participating in any form of exercise, including the use of all equipment and machinery in this gym at the Property
