Any developing sensation experienced during the period of works must be reported immediately by operatives to the site manager / supervisor, who is required to inform the H&S Advisor. Operatives are to be reminded of the following:

  • To wear gloves

  • To keep warm

  • To use the tools as directed

  • Not to ignore symptoms

  • Avoid gripping or forcing tools to hard

  • Exercise and massage hands and fingers during breaks

  • Report defects immediately

  • Not to exceed how long the tool is designed to be used for ( check manufacturers guidelines)

  • To ensure tools are in good condition
