Welcome!👋

  • ⏱️ Clock in via the TimeClock app on the iPad.

  • 👔 Put on your apron (or "Petey's" apron), steam if wrinkled, and wear according to the Switchyards standard.

  • ✅ Check Slack for the previous Clubkeep’s shift notes and any updates in the “chat” channel.

  • 👀 Take a glance around the club to gauge general vibe, member activity, & anything noticeably out of place.

Cafe☕️

COFFEE MACHINE

  • Refresh paper filter. (Replace roll when down to 1/4 inch thick).

  • Brush loose coffee grounds from brew funnel & filter area.

  • Wipe down the cup holder area with a hot towel.

  • Dump & rinse out the drip tray.

  • 🌟Refill coffee beans. - Check for bags marked "USE FIRST" before opening others.

  • 🌟Empty coffee grounds disposal bucket & replace liner.

  • 🌟Wipe down option screen with glass cleaner. (Use "clean screen" function in machine settings.)

  • 🌟Run RINSE cycle.

  • 🌟Wash the drip tray with soap & hot water.

CREAMERS

  • Check that both the display & backup refrigerators are below 41°F.

  • If above 41℉ — include in your shift notes.

  • 👅 Taste and/or 👃 smell creamers for freshness.

  • If spoiled — wash and refill dispensers and include in your shift notes.

  • Refill dispensers "to the brim!"

  • 📅 Date any open cartons and 🥛🥛 keep two unopened oat milks prepped in the backup fridge.

  • Wipe down the outside of the creamer dispensers.

  • Wipe down the inside and outside of the display refrigerator.

  • 🌟Remove and wash dispenser lids. (Remove and wash the rubber gasket.)

  • Restock all dispensers (hot cups, water cups, teas, stroops, lids, stirrers, sweeteners, & napkins) “to the brim!”

  • Wipe down countertop & tidy up dispensers.

  • Dump the water cooler drip tray.

  • 🌟Scrub the sink with soap & hot water.

  • 🌟Wipe down honey dispensers & coaster with a hot towel.

  • 🌟Take out ALL trash & replace liners

Club😎

  • Check the Sonos app to ensure all speakers are grouped & playing. Notify City Manager if there are any issues with speakers or music.

  • Check all thermostats to ensure temp is between 68° & 72.° Notify City Manager if temp needs to be adjusted.

  • Wipe down ALL available tables, seating, & phone booth interiors.

  • Tidy up all furniture & decor.

  • Ensure all lamps are on and/or operational.

  • Restock all club merch (paper, pencils, stickers, coasters, buttons, & matches). These should always be full to the brim!

  • 📞 Does this club have phone booths?

  • If you are unable to reset any phone booths, please indicate in your shift notes for the following Clubkeep.

  • Wipe down tabletops, stools, and door handles.

  • Ensure all lamps are on and operational.

  • Check floors for trash and Lost & Found items.

  • Close any doors left open.

  • 🌟Wipe down doors with glass cleaner.

  • 🤝 Does this club have a Club Room?

  • If you are unable to reset any Club Rooms, please indicate in your shift notes for the following Clubkeep.

  • Wipe down all available tables, seating, and furniture.

  • Tidy up all furniture & decor.

  • Ensure all lamps are on and/or operational.

  • Restock all club merch (paper, pencils, stickers, coasters, buttons, & matches). These should always be full to the brim!

  • Wipe down white boards with glass cleaner.

  • Test dry erase markers & TV remote for function.

  • 🌟Wipe down door with glass cleaner.

  • 🌟Restock disinfectant wipes dispensers.

  • 🌟Check tables & countertops for marks and clean with magic eraser.

  • 🌟Take out ALL trash & replace can liners.

Restrooms🧻

  • Are you at BCK or MDT?

  • Restock ALL restroom dispensers (toilet paper, hand towels, hand soap, & hygiene products).

  • Does the Febreze and/or Hand Sanitizer bottle need to be replaced?

  • Which item(s) did you stock?

  • Wipe down sink & faucet.

  • Wipe down/dust ALL surfaces (restroom cabinet, paper towel dispenser, outside of trash can, etc).

  • Flush toilets to check for cleanliness & function.

  • Pick up any trash or debris found in the restroom.

  • Ensure radios are turned on, set to 90.1 FM (NPR), & are set at an appropriate volume.

  • 🌟Check restroom cabinets for toilet paper and paper towel levels. Does either item need to be restocked?

  • Please pull from the on-site storage to restock the cabinets

  • Which item needed to be restocked?

  • 🌟Wipe down mirrors with glass cleaner.

  • 🌟Dump hygiene disposal bins & replace liners.

  • 🌟Take out ALL trash & replace can liners.

  • Notify City Manager if there are any major issues with the restrooms.

Exterior🏡

  • Wipe down any outdoor seating areas & pick up any/all trash.

  • Walk around the exterior of our unit/building to check property for proper condition.

  • 🌟Wipe down entrance doors with glass cleaner.

  • 🌟Sweep entryway & SY logo mat.

Wrap-Up!🏁

  • 🧹 Spot sweep & pick up any trash/debris across the club.

  • 🗑️ Check trash levels of ALL trash cans across club. If any cans are more than halfway full, please empty trash & replace liner.

  • 🧺 Replace all cleaning supplies & place dirty towels in the bin.

  • 👀 Gather, date, & store any Lost & Found items. (Notify HQ in your shift notes if you found any valuable items).

  • ❗️Are any supplies running low?

  • Include a rough count per low item in your shift notes.

  • 🔒 Lock back BUNN machine and supply cabinet.

  • ☕️ Brew a cup of coffee to test the BUNN machine for proper function.

  • 📝 Post shift notes in Slack. (Inform City Manager of any important notes, member interactions, and/or low stock of any supplies).

  • ⏱️ Clock out via the TimeClock app on the iPad & hang your apron back up. See you around the club!
