Multideck Ingress

Staffroom Heating

  • The Staffroom heater supply requires wiring through the new Contactor Panel. There is a dedicated Contactor in the new Contactor Panel and this should be utilised.

    If the heater is fed from a local consumer unit, the feed will have to be rerouted to a main DB.

  • Is the Staffroom heater powered from the main distribution location or a loacal consumer unit?

Water Heater

  • The Toilet Water Heater supply requires wiring through the new Contactor Panel. There is a dedicated Contactor in the new Contactor Panel and this should be utilised.

    If the heater is fed from a local consumer unit, the feed will have to be rerouted to a main DB.

  • Is the Toilet Water Heater powered from the main distribution location or a loacal consumer unit?

Recessed Lighting

  • Some Home Bargains stores have glazing at the front of the store which allows daylight to illuminate any lobby's and local areas, such as in front of the tills.

    It may be possible to switch some circuits dependant on daylight levels in these zones.

    This feature is called 'Recessed Lighting'

  • Is there a lobby?

  • Are the lobby lights on a separate Circuist?

  • How many Circuits?

  • Are there any windows capable of bringing daylight into the store?

  • Are these areas fed from separate circuits?

  • Would it be beneficial to rewire some lighting circuits to isolate areas that benefit from natural light?

  • Take a photo of where the internal LUX sensor should be positioned. Note: it needs to be shaded from the lights it will control - tricky and needs careful consideration.

External Sensor location

  • Take a photo of the northern elevation of the building or if not available/applicable the east elevation.

Sign Lights

  • Some Home Bargains stores have external sign lights which can be illuminated beyond opening hours and are therefore on different timers and contractors within the BMS system. This feature is called 'Sign Lights'. These lights can be on dependant on external lux sensor readings and times of day / night.

  • Are there any Sign Light circuits running from existing independent timers?

Side Walk lights

  • Some Home Bargains stores have external lighting to external areas where Home Bargains are obligated to provide lighting to public walkways during darkness hours. This BMS feature is called 'Sidewalk Lights'. There is a dedicated Contactor for this feature in the new Contactor Panel.
