Bedroom

  • A/C is set to either 70 or 72

  • Beds are made with neat and straight bedspreads and bed sheets, as well as fluffed and even pillows.

  • The bedspreads should be free of rips and stains.

  • Check behind furniture for any debris

  • Furniture should be free from dust, dirt, scratches and stains. It should be neat and straight.

  • Check if all the drawers in cabinets are clean and slide out properly.

  • Lamp shades should be straight, with the seams facing the wall.

  • Drapes should open and close smoothly, and be clean. Blackout curtains are pulled 3/4 way shut. Shear curtains pulled completely shut

  • Microwave and refrigerator are cleaned

  • Carpets and rugs should be vacuumed.

  • Hangers are available and are in good condition.

Bathroom

  • Check behind the door to make sure no linen is left hanging

  • The toilet, sink, shower/bath, and floor must be cleaned and disinfected.

  • Toiletries, towels, and other supplies are freshly stocked.

  • Mirrors should be cleaned.

  • The shower rod is in good working condition.

  • The toilet flushes properly.

  • The bathroom is free of unpleasant odors.

  • Trash cans cleaned

  • The shower and/or tub is free of soap scum/ mildew

General Checks

  • No visible dirt, dust, etc. on the floor.

  • Coffee pot empty of Kurig cups and clean

  • Trash cans are emptied and sanitized.

  • All lights and electronics are in good working order.

  • Restock coffee, tea, and other complimentary supplies, if applicable.

  • Maintenance needs, issues, and damage must be documented and reported using the Actions feature in this checklist. As applicable, assign them to respective personnel.
