    It is a statutory and a contractual obligation for all contractors working for Hills to complete this Safety Equipment Audit bi-annually to provide evidence your safety equipment (PPE) has been inspected, records kept and your and vehicle is in good working condition and available for use.
    You are required under legislation to keep a log book of your height safety PPE and have this equipment inspected every 6 months by a qualified inspector or company as per AS/NZS 1891.4 2009

    Hills have supplied you with an inspections checklist log book, this is available in the Contractor Portal, download complete and include the signed log in the Equipment Inspection Records section.
    Only complete this yourself if you hold height safety equipment Inspection qualification MEM15004B or PUAEQU001 - Prepare, maintain and test response equipment , otherwise have the inspection completed by a 3rd party.

    Take all photos in your camera roll and complete this audit on a desktop PC.
    Using a mobile device to complete and send this audit will result in you exceeding your free 10mb data allowance limit.

First Aid Kit Contents:

  • All PCBU (Subcontractors) must have access to First Aid, it is mandatory to carry a First Aid kit in your vehicle.
    Your first aid kit must comply with "First Aid in the workplace, Code of practice 2020"
    The first aid kit must be kept in a prominent accessible location and should provide basic equipment for administering first aid for injuries including:
    Cuts, scratches, punctures, grazes and splinters, muscular sprains and strains, minor burns, amputations and/or major bleeding wounds, broken bones, eye injuries and shock.
    Confirm your first aid kit has the mandatory quantities of the below items, you must carry the minimum amounts as set in the Code of Practice.

  • Instructions for providing first aid—including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) flow chart (1)

  • Resuscitation face mask or face shield (1)

  • Disposable nitrile examination gloves (nitrile is a latex-free rubber suitable for people with latex allergies) (5 Pairs)
