Items to be considered - pre loading checklist

  • Is the delivery vehicle suitable for the type and size of load as well as the site condition?

  • Has your truck been adequately serviced and maintained?

  • Has the restraint equipment been inspected before use?

  • Did the driver have an adequate amount of sleep last night?

  • Are you currently complying with the fatigue laws concerning work / rest hour requirements?

  • Is the A-Frame tagged as compliment for use, restrained properly and without visible damage?

  • If the answer is "no" to any of the above questions, the vehicle is not permitted to leave the site until items corrected.
    Have you recently consumed any types of drugs and / or alcohol?
    Is the A-Frame on the vehicle adequately secured and in good working order?

Items to be considered - after loading checklist

  • Have you checked to ensure that all loose items on your truck are tied down?

  • Has the load been properly positioned on the truck?

  • Has the correct restraint equipment been used to secure the load?

  • Has the correct dimension or mass limits been observed?

  • Has the load been suitably restrained?

  • All goods loaded onto the vehicle have been inspected and are in good condition?

  • If the answer is "no" to any of the above items, the vehicle is not permitted to leave the site until the items are corrected.
