Site Setup

  • Barriers and security fencing is erected directing all visitors and new workers to a safe area immediately on arrival on site

  • No person can access the work area without being inducted

  • Signage and restricted work areas are set up and are in place

  • Signage and door bell is clearly marked asking visitors and new workers to wait until the site foreman can get to them

  • Access paths from work area are clearly marked for any emergencies

  • Copies of the Health and Safety folder, the Safety Data Sheet folder and the Legislation folder are available on site

  • Task safety analysis or safe work method documents have been completed specific to this site and all workers are familiar with them
