1.0 Administration

  • 1.1 Has the emergency assembly point been identified?

  • 1.2 has an area been identified where safety notices, emergency contact numbers, site safety rules etc can be displayed?

  • 1.3 has the location of the nearest hospital, medical centre, police station been identified?<br>Are their numbers recorded on the Emergency Contact form?

  • 1.4 have emergency numbers for essential services been recorded? Eg Gas, water, electricity.

  • 1.5 Has the site induction handout been formatted to site specifics?

  • 1.6 have you received the Workcover poster pack from the National SHEQ Manager?

2.0 Existing Building Hazards

  • 3.3 Are there any council conditions imposed (work zone, forward movement only etc) to consider?

  • 3.4 Is a Traffic Management Plan required?

4.0 Mandatory Signage

  • What PPE signage is required?

  • What safety or hazard waring signage is required?

5.0 Fire Protection

  • 5.1 Are base building fire extinguishers available?

  • 5.2 Are base building fire hose reels available?

  • 5.3 Are fire hose reels and extinguishers clearly marked and accessible?

  • 5.4 Does ICMG need to provide fire extinguishers?

6.0 Site Security

  • 6.1 Is back to base security monitoring or site security required?

  • 6.2 Is site security fencing / hoardings required?
