Remove the inflated section of the arms. Are the metal arms & springs free from damage, and don't appear to be weakened in any way?
Remove the outer layer of padding from the central pillar. Is the inner layer of foam padding free from rips, tears, abrasions etc?
Remove the cover at the base of the central pillar. Is the metal framework below intact, secure and has no signs of weakening?
Before reassembling the equipment, check that all nuts & bolts are tight and secure?
