  • This is a statutory inspection carried out on behalf of the named client above. All issued raised in this inspection are to be amended with as soon as reasonably practicable. It is the responsibility of the client to have any issues resolved. We reserve the right to decommission the scaffold if it is deemed unsafe.

  • Are standards plum within allowance?

  • Are ledgers plum within allowance?

  • Are routes to access clear?

  • Are there any signs of misuse on the scaffold?

  • Is there any signs of overloading on the scaffold?

  • Has the scaffold been tampered with in any way?

  • Is there any elements of the scaffold showing signs of wear?

  • Are adequate safety gates/hatches in place?

  • Are ladders 1.050m above the boarded lift?

  • Are ladders installed at the correct 1 to 4 angle?

  • Is the platform safe and gaps kept to a minimum?

  • Are the boards in suitable condition?

  • Is there no gaps greater than 225mm?

  • Are gaps larger than 100mm being managed?

  • Is all spare material cleared?

  • Is the sheeting showing signs of wear or damage? (if applicable)

  • Has the site been left clear of mess?

  • Are Gates/Hatches free of damage and in safe working condition?

  • Are ladders free of damage and in safe working condition?

  • Is lifting equipment fit for use and installed correctly?

  • Is scaffold compliant with Working at Heights Regs 2005?

  • Is there sufficient protection of tubes and fittings for pedestrians?

  • Are there any further comments to the safety of the scaffold?

  • Are there any other comments regarding the safety of this site?
