• Check that the router or fixed LAN has an internet connection

• Reset datalogger and router and call manufacturer to check if monitoring has been reinstated

• Log into datalogger and ensure that all equipment is visible

• Record results

• Check mains connections for loose connection or sign of burning

• Check operation of Mains breaker device (Mechanically)

• Ensure protection device ratings are as per system specification

• Visually asses the pollution and shading of the PV modules (on roof)

• Check of the screw joints on the PV frame, and tightening of loose joints

• Check of the stability of the PV frame construction

• Check of fixing of the PV modules to the frame construction

• Check and test the DC connectors (both serial and parallel connections)

• Check the solar cables for damage, fixings and containment

• Assess the grounding connection points, their possible repair, conservation, and corrosion removal (if applicable)

• Assess the PV modules for the mechanical destructions or abnormal colouring

• Record any detected issues

• Measurements of selected modules and strings with power meter

• Test selected modules and strings with power meter, record the results here

• Sample test of modules and all electrical connections for hot spots with thermography
