Is PPE lab signage up-to-date?

Are hazardous waste labels posted on hazardous waste containers?

Has the satellite accumulation start date exceeded 9-months on the hazardous waste label? <br>Note if stated, "Emptied Weekly" then no start date is required.

Have fire extinguisher(s) been inspected within the past month?

Are fire extinguisher(s) clear of obstruction?

Signage labeling fire extinguishers?

Are the safety flammable/corrosive cabinets self-closing?

Are only flammable chemicals stored in flammable safety cabinet?

Are only corrosive chemicals stored in corrosive safety cabinet?

Are all hazardous waste chemicals labeled?

Secondary containers follow GHS or NFPA labeling requirements?

Are flammable liquids in a FM rated container (when exceeding 500mL)?

Have eye wash station(s) been inspected within the past month?

Are eye wash stations(s) clear of obstruction?

Are trip hazards present?

Necessary 36 inches of clearance left in front of the electric panel?

Are all emergency exit evacuation signs current (zones no longer apply)?

Are Emergency Exits clear of obstruction?

Are Exit Signs Illuminated?

Are stored items 18” below the bottom of the sprinkler deflector (imagine horizontal plane across all areas from sprinkler)

Are work permits posted and current?

Have safety harnesses been inspected?

Do hoisting devices have load weight posted?

Have Fall Arrest Systems been inspected?

Are gas cylinders strapped?

Are gas cylinders capped if not in use?

Has MSDS binder been replaced with SDS binder?

Has fume hood been certified within the last year?

Is area identified with room number sticker?

Are LOTO tags applied and have current LOTO equipment?

Is proper PPE worn?

Is good workplace housekeeping being maintained?

Are there any other environment, health, & safety concerns?
